The big bang started in head brewer, Mike’s garage. Mike was always on the hunt for a great craft Pilsner and before too long wanted to know how it all worked. “I went and bought one of those home brewing kits…it was so crappy though, right. So I did some research and read about these guys who had basically built mini breweries and operated them out of their garage. I followed this brewery pattern from this guy in Holland and built my own garage brewery”

What started as a solo hobby became a bit of a garage bar when Mike met some other Curl Curl dads amongst the sidelines of their kids sport games, who were more than happy to head back to Mike’s garage bar in and drink some experiments with him. Over the mutual love of great beer and smart minds, These dads became the founders of 7th Day Brewery.
